After our eventful and drink filled night in Philadelphia, I needed some grease. Badly. For me, that is the only way to kill a monster hang over. That and some Diet Coke bubbles. So we needed to find a place and find it quick. Like there was not going to be any driving around to find a place; so B yelp'ed it, and found a cute little place called Tomcat Cafe right down the street from my mom's.
They had an enormous menu, and everything on it had a cute name. I can't remember all the movies, but one they had named a few items after The Big Leboswki. It was really creative. And almost all of the tables were packed when we got there.
I unfortunately did not get any pictures of the actual front of the place, but let's be more concerned with the food...
check out their creative breakfast menu : here
i reverted to my five year old self and got a big ole messy grilled cheese with french fries. four different kinds of cheesy on delicious buttery greasy bread....yum. |
Their menu claims awards such as "best breakfast in Berks [county]". And I can definitely see why. If you're anywhere in or around the area, it's definitely worth the stop.
