our trip to KC was perfected by going to a couple of games. we went to a Royals game and a Sporting KC game.
I love going to sports games. they are a perfect escape. which is a perfect segue into less than 40 days till auburn! woo!
anyway, our seats for both games were amazing. we were on the first base side pretty close to where foul balls go, but luckily nothing decided to hit me in the face.

the Royals unfortunately lost (extra innings though!), but they had an awesome fireworks show afterwards.
and if you know anything about me, you know that i love fireworks, so it was amazing.
on another sports note, the olympics start tomorrow, and boy, i can't tell you how excited i am about the opening ceremonies! one of my favorite things about the whole olympics put together. oh, and whoever decided to bring the spice girls back for a reunion for the closing ceremonies, is seriously my hero. :)
