I love to eat. It's no secret based on the posts that I frequently do. B and I love to watch the food shows; not the cooking ones, but the ones where they talk about the most amazing restaurants and what they eat while there.
so a while back, while we were just chilling in bed, we actually saw a restaurant come up that we could actually try in the near future.
and there was Dominica. A fancy upscale pizza place that a snazzy happy hour (half price drinks and pizza!) for us poor people.
They had a ton of pizza that looked delicious, but we decided on the prosciutto one, because, well, I can't think of anything on earth better than prosciutto.
since we only had a few tiny slices of pizza, we knew that we were going to be hungry later. of course, you know us, we are not one for touristy places, but I was the mood for something fried with french fries and a few oysters . So we hit up Acme Oyster House.
The place was still packed out at 9pm, so we sat all the down at the end of the bar. And apparently they were lucky seats. We made friends with a guy who was standing there ordering drinks for his friends, and decided that we were nice people, so he bought us two dozen oysters; one dozen chargrilled (amazing!) and a dozen raw.
Acme smothered the chargrilled ones with parmesan and butter, making them extra better. And the raw ones were superb with just a little horseradish and lemon juice.
Oh, how I love oysters.
