so this will be my last post on kc. i promise. there are only a few pictures that i haven't gotten to put on here yet.
friday morning, before our awesome Savoy lunch, we went to the Negro Baseball League museum as well as the Jazz museum. they were right next door to each other in the same building. the baseball one was a little more interesting, and don't get me wrong; i like jazz music.
one thing i don't like? putting on headphones after strangers. i just kept imagining what might have been crawling around in their ears, and i don't want whatever that could have been roaming around in mine.
so anyway, it was pretty informative, and even learned that bham had a team; the Black Barons. it was just neat to learn how hank aaron, of my favorite mlb team, the braves, came to be.
also one morning, my step-mom and i were brought along on a golf outing. i have to admit that looking for balls was not my idea of fun, however, driving the golf cart was.

so that's all for kc. it was a fun trip. b and i have a trip planned to, where else? nola at the end of august. hope everyone had a great july!!
