Randy Rogers Band

last Friday, i was driving home from work, listening to the radio when i heard the sweetest words ever...

"randy rogers band will be playing the tin roof next wednesday"

whaaa?  

these are the guys we saw when we were in austin.  what the hell were they doing coming to birmingham? and playing a free show? no need for a real explanation.  we were there.

so we drive on up to tin roof ( i absolutely hate this bar in birmingham; these guys were pretty much the only people that could make me go in there), and it's only semi-packed, so we grab some brews and take a seat and wait.

and then it happened.  they came on stage.  and we were so close!  you're going to have to excuse the quality on most of these pictures, because it's pretty bad, but i'm going to share them anyway.

the last two pictures are with some of the band mates.  b and i agreed that this would probably never have happened in texas.  they are a pretty big deal out there.  

and b owns the shirt this guy is wearing.  we saw hayes carll back last winter.  

if you ever get the chance to see these guys, take it.  they're awesome.
