we woke up with a 10% chance of rain this morning.
somehow in the course of ten minutes, it turned into 40% chance of rain. while it was raining.
you're probably like, well, who cares? you live in Alabama, doesn't it rain all the time?
well yes. but it shouldn't while we're trying to put on a yard sale. we woke up at 5 am to get everything outside. the sale included a sofa, a nice suede chair, tables, clothes, etc. so as soon as it started raining, we had to scramble to cover all the heavy stuff.
we had one shopper that came early and bought $25 worth of stuff.
then we had to pack it up for the day.
this is what we were faced with this morning. so we moved everything back into the basement. all the while, i'm complaining about how heavy everything is and how much God hates me.
so we'll try again some other weekend.
stupid rain.
