Pinterest Fail

6.2.14

You wanna know how I suck at life?

Because Pinterest tells me so.  Every rare few weeks, I'll bake or make something that I see on Pinterest.  I'm always, like, hey!  That looks easy enough.  And then things like this happen.

I saw a bunch of people doing this on the site with their puppies, and I really wanted to do it!  I am no photographer, as evidenced by my amazing iphone camera skills, but I thought there really can't be anything to this!  It has to be easy.

Wrong.

Welcome to my Pinterest fail.

Besides the glorious space heater and amazingly glorious blur on most of these, we should probably feel the most sorry for Stell Dog.  You can just see the terror in her eyes.

Promise to you, dog:  I won't do this again until I know what I'm doing.

You're welcome.

Pinterest Fun

17.7.12

Since B insists on playing video games well into the night, I am forced (yes I said forced ) to browse pinterest.  Sometimes for hours on end.  I know, it's terrible.

Here are a couple of my favorite pinterest things from the past week or so...

Love this look; I, however, do not have the patience to do it myself.

I love anything doing with chickens...and this seems to make the separation easy.

Chip!!

This honestly makes me laugh without even watching the movie.  This is my favorite scene; mostly because I can relate to it.

We will definitely be doing this before we leave for our new house!!

I'm hoping that I'll still be able to sneak a post or two while at my dad's.  If not, I'll see ya in a week!!

Ghost

29.9.11

Oh my gosh! I think I just saw a ghost!

No wait. That's just LC's blog...

I apologize for being so out of pocket. I have had much going on lately between bar outings with my boss man, kickball (which I have been seriously neglecting), dance competition practice (whoop!), Halloween decorating (there are pics for later!), gym times, work and life in general.

This is so me. Except I would be wearing pajamas. With no makeup. And I don't think I have a $5000 anything in my house.

Cuteness. I would cuddle with him. For reals.

I promise I will be back with real life pictures and stories. Once I get 8 hours of sleep in a row.

Coffee: My New Love

16.8.11

I have never been one for coffee. I've always loved the way it smells, but could never bring myself to drink it.

So today, my co-worker, who is a super health nut, tells me that my Diet Dr. Peppers in the morning are not a healthy way to get my caffeine fix. He said that coffee is the most natural way to get caffeine. He told me that he would bring me down a cup of coffee, and I was going to try it again. So he goes upstairs, and comes back and places the steaming hot cup of coffee right on my desk.

I immediately love the way it smells; he said, "It's creamer." And I'm all like, "well, this can't be any better than Diet Dr. Pepper, I mean, how many miles do I have to run to work this off?". And he said, there's not that many. So I trusted him and took a sip....

And it was AMAZING!! I was so proud of myself!! I felt like such a grown up!! Maybe I shouldn't be so excited about finally growing up, but really? I secretly am. And the fact that it lets me bounce off the walls and be so cheery? Oh bring it on!!

Whoever would have thought this would have been me??

And I just had to throw this one in here because it's oh-so-cute!!

I'm so excited to hit up Starbucks and try all these iced coffee things and to drink all the fun warm drinks in the winter.

So a big hecks yeah to coffee! I'm excited for my next cup at work!!

Day Dreamin

8.8.11

Even though I was incredibly busy today, I found time to day dream. I think it's necessary during the day to just zone out for a second and think about something that you want to think about. Not worrying if this driver is going to get mad because, oh yes, you do in fact have speeding ticket of over 20 mph, and no, I'm sorry, that does make you unsafe.

I dream about ballroom dancing and pretty dresses. I dream about the Jimmy Choos that one day I will own. I dream about moving to Austin and re-decorating a new house. And sometimes I'm even tempted to get onto Pinterest and waste my day away. I don't. I'd still be at work if that were that case. That place is so addicting!!

Anyway, I'm not a fan of a straight 8 hours of work. You have to have a reason for being at work. You have to know what you are going to do once you're free.

Daydreaming? Yes please!!
